"My name is Kent. I grew up on the beach in Miami, Fl., and spent summers out here in the Hamptons. I have been running boats ever since, and my personal favorite water sport is slalom skiing.
I’ve had a love affair with the water, and now I enjoy sharing that and teaching all kinds of water sports to others.  I am also a passionate aviator and have been flying aerobatics for the last 20 years.
I currently hold a USCG Master 100 Ton Captains license,  a Pilots License and  I am a Master Scuba Diver."
- Kent, Captain + Pilot

"My name is Jonas. I’m currently studying at Pitzer College in California and majoring in media studies. I grew up at the Art Farm and have been on the Riders boats for all my life. I started working as an instructor about six years ago and began captaining last summer. The best part of working for the riders is the fun we have with the clients and campers. Seeing and helping someone get up on the water ski or wakeboard for the first time is a special part of the job that motivates me and the other instructors to get better and better at helping people become a Rider!"
- Jonas, Captain & Instructor

"I am Captain Matt… and I am in-love with boating!  My dad bought our first family boat when I was just 5 years old and I was hooked immediately.  This was back in the late 1960’s, and every weekend we voyaged to a different beach on Fire Island; like Sailors Haven and Watch Hill from May until October.  If we weren’t heading to or back from the beach- then we were fishing Jones Inlet or driving around in endless-circles in Great South Bay… as my 4 siblings and I mastered waterskiing. Now, more than fifty years later, I am still going around in endless-circles waterskiing… except it’s in Noyack Bay & numerous other watersports have been invented to also enjoy and master!  I am still madly-in-love and made it my full-time career and life!  Along the way - I earned an impressive list of Internationally-Recognized U.S.C.G. Maritime Credentials, Certifications, and Degrees.   So, I hope you will join us and bring your family out – for a fun & safe experience boating & learning water sport’s.  You will see- just how easy it is… to fall-in-love!

"My name is Alex, I m currently studying at Northeastern University in Boston, but I am interning at   Wayfair between January until July. I’ve spent 5 6 years at The Art Farm and The Riders. The best    thing about being part of the riders is seeing the excitement of people who are new to water sports getting up for the first time on the wakeboard, waterski, or wake surf, and seeing their progression from there. I also love getting the chance to wake surf with people who are new to the sport!"

"My name is Mike. I am currently studying business and political science at Tulane University. I attended the Art Farm and Riders from when I was four until I was twelve and have worked there for four summers. The best thing about being part of the Riders is giving people the time of their lives when they come out on the boat with us!"

"My name is James, I am a lifelong Hamptons resident and avid waterman. Having been raised in close proximity to Mecox Bay & Sag Harbor, I have gained 20+ years of experience around local waters. Since being a young man, I have had boats in my life. Most recently I enjoy spending time aboard my “Parker 23 SE”. Over the years, I have mastered just about any object that can be towed behind a boat! I enjoy pushing the limits of wake surfing because I believe it is a great complimentary workout to water-sports that require a tow rope. "
- James, Instructor
Hey I’m Captain Martin! I’ve always had a calling to the water from a young age. There’s just something about the endless ocean I find so appealing. I grew up on my families farm and developed a deep respect for nature and the life around us early on.  When I was 18 I met captain Matt. His passion of being a captain and boating passed on to me and the rest is history. My dream which I’m working into my reality is to one day sail around the world. I would love to have you aboard and share my passion for the water and having fun with everybody ! - Martin, Captain
My name is Amanda. I am currently studying Global Business and Strategy at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. I am attending law school, hopefully, after my senior year to become an international lawyer. I have been raised on boats my whole life and love the water! I attended the Riders camp for 5 years before becoming an instructor, and have been one for ~6 summers. The best part about the Riders is sharing the fun of doing watersports, as well as seeing a smile on a student's face when they overcome their fears and rock at whatever they do!
- Amanda, Instructor

"My name is Lexi, I am originally Canadian and grew up on lakes learning how to do water sports. I currently attend the University of Denver in Colorado where I'm studying management, entrepreneurship and real estate. All of my friends grew up at the Art Farm and have had only good things to say about it, so I was lucky enough to join the team last summer as an instructor and it was the best summer yet. I love the riders because it is giving kids the time of their lives."
- Lexi, Instructor

My name is Blaise Werner and I am a water sports instructor here at the Riders. I am from Boulder, Colorado and I am currently studying Media Production and Spanish at Pitzer College in California. My name is Zoe. I am currently studying at Tulane University, majoring in Business Management and Psychology. I grew up spending my summers on the water and attended Art Farm from age five to twelve, which was always a highlight of my summer. I have been working for the Art Farm for three years and the Riders since last summer. The best part of working for the Riders is being able to give people an unforgettable experience out on the water, teaching them new sports and watching them develop new passions for water sports they may have never tried before! - Zoe, Instructor
